THE DUNE HOUSE
The “pointy” house with the shiny metallic roof was finished in 2011. This latest edition to the eclectic architecture that makes up the Thorpeness dunes was designed by Norwegian architects Jarmund/Vigsnæs. Strangely the baths are in the bedrooms. Is this some form of cultural alignment to the 20th century British predilection for carpet in bathrooms?
