This original statue was stolen in 2003 and has since been replaced. See What a Lovely Aria from The Daily Mail in 2003 who appear to have muddled their doctors!

“Dr Nora” also compiled “Up the Steps” a series of tales written for children based on the tales she heard from fishermen and their families of shipwreck and rescue, smugglers and the revenue men along the Suffolk coast.

I found a mint copy in Read Books on Crabbe Street but I expect copies are still available somewhere on the internet if they’ve run out.
